Concepts of Voiced and Unvoiced sounds

  VOICED SOUNDS The vocal cords vibrate when you make these sounds. Example:  /b/ as in bat /d/ as in dog /g/ as in go /z/ as in zoo All vowel sounds like /a/, /e/, /i/, etc. UNVOICED SOUNDS  The vocal cords do not vibrate. Example:  /p/ as in pat /t/ as in top /k/ as in cat /s/ as in sun
